BRITISH R&B group Soul II Soul has been announced as the support act for Nile Rodgers & CHIC, coming to Broadlands in July.
Founded by Jazzie B in London in the 80s, Soul II Soul are best known for major bestsellers Back To Life, which reached number one in the UK and 1989’s Keep On Movin’.
Over the years, Soul II Soul has held residencies across the world, completed countless sell-out concert tours, hosted radio shows and appeared on TV screens across the country.

Joining the support for Nile Rodgers will be urban contemporary music pioneer and legendary broadcaster DJ Trevor Nelson.
Starting at Kiss FM in 1995 as ‘Madhatter’, Trevor was previously the DJ for Soul II Soul and has since been a host of multiple shows on BBC Radio 1Xtra and his current show Rhythm Nation on BBC Radio 2.
Topping the bill will be American musician, record producer, composer and co-founder of Chic, Nile Rodgers, who has sold more than 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide.
Famed for iconic hits such as Le Freak, Good Times, Dance Dance Dance, and I Want Your Love, Nile Rodgers & CHIC will bring their live show to the Broadlands Estate on Saturday, July 1.
Nile is also a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a three-time Grammy Award-winner and a recipient of the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award.

He has produced songs for world-renowned artists including Like a Virgin by Madonna, Let's Dance by David Bowie, The Reflex by Duran Duran, and Upside Down by Diana Ross.
On Nile Rodgers & CHIC performing at Broadlands, Countess Mountbatten of Burma, owner of Broadlands Estate said: “We are delighted that Senbla are bringing events of this calibre to Broadlands.
"This will be a show for the whole county to get involved in, as well as being a big boost to local businesses, and a magical evening of live music.”
Also confirmed to perform at Broadlands this summer is Lionel Richie, who will perform on June 27, and Gwen Stefani on June 29.
