A HAMPSHIRE-based car dealer has donated thousands of pounds to a hospice charity following its 60th-anniversary fundraising campaign.
Snows Motor Group raised £10,000 for Naomi House and Jacksplace during its ‘Mission 60’ project.
The 60th-anniversary project, which began last year, challenged each member of staff to raise £60 through fundraising activities to collectively achieve a target of £60,000 to support six local charities, including Naomi House and Jacksplace which supports life-limited children and young adults.
More than 300 members of staff took part throughout the year, with around 30 events, including 12 abseils, two skydives, two football matches, five treks and a head shave.

Customer experience manager at Snows, Olivia Snow, said: “We were delighted to reach our target for Mission 60 and be able to award Naomi House and Jacksplace £10,000 to aid the vital work they do to support local children and young adults who have life-limiting conditions. And to hear that our donation could fund 60 days of specialist nursing care was the icing on the cake.”
Senior corporate fundraiser at Naomi House and Jacksplace, Ella Clayton, said: “A huge congratulations and massive thank you to the whole team at Snows who took part in this incredible initiative to raise vital funds for our hospices and five other fantastic charities. It was brilliant to see how the fundraising mission offered ‘something for everyone’ to take part in and joined everyone together. Thank you so much for your wonderful support.”
The money will go towards providing vital respite, end-of-life care and bereavement support to hundreds of families across central southern England. For more information on the hospice charity based in Sutton Scotney go to naomihouse.org.uk/.
