ROMSEY police are continuing patrols after report of anti-social behaviour led to foot chases.
This comes after officers were deployed to the Co-op in Warren Gardens on Tuesday, March 14 after reports of 15 teenagers shoplifting and causing a disturbance.
After obtaining a description of the youths, officers searched the area, stopping four males who matched the description.

While speaking to the group, all four ran away, with a foot chase ensuing onto the Abbotswood Estate where one of the men was detained for shoplifting. Following a second foot chase after the man managed to break free of police, the man was stopped and searched for stolen goods.
The search was negative, and the suspect was released, but officers are continuing their enquiries.
A police spokesperson said: “We will be continuing patrols this evening to deter and enforce any and all anti-social behaviour.”
