ROMSEY’S neighbourhood police team has reported another busy week, responding to 14 incidents and investigating a further nine.
On Monday, March 13, Romsey police officers posted a weekly update on the Test Valley Cops Facebook Page.
Throughout the week officers in the town responded to one criminal damage, one burglary, four cases of anti-social behaviour in the community, two public orders, one anti-social gathering, one case of assault causing grievous bodily harm, two cases of suspicious activity, one high-risk missing person and one harassment.

The team also listed the cases it has been investigating – with the majority still ongoing. These included:
- One case of criminal damage – CSI are still investigating.
- One case of harassment – offenders are to be dealt with in due course.
- Theft of a pedal cycle – enquiries are still ongoing.
- Three cases of shoplifting – enquiries are ongoing.
- One case of criminal damage – suspects identified and will be dealt with in due course.
- Two cases of theft of a motor vehicle – enquiries are ongoing.
Patrols have taken place in Romsey Town, Cupernham, Abbotswood, Belbins, North Baddesley, Rownhams, Nursling, Valley Park, Chandler’s Ford and Yokesford Hill.
The police have also implemented a Section 34 Dispersal Order in response to cases of anti-social behaviour.
