Nile Rodgers and CHIC have been announced as performing an open-air concert at the Broadlands Estate near Romsey.
Famed for 1970s and 80s hits such as ‘Le Freak’, ‘Good Times, ‘Dance Dance Dance’, and ‘I Want Your Love’, Nile Rodgers & CHIC will bring their live show on Saturday, July 1.
Ollie Rosenblatt, founder of event promoters Senbla, said: “It’s a real privilege to be able to bring the legendary Nile Rodgers & CHIC to Broadlands. It’s a stunning venue and paired with all of Nile’s incredible and wide-ranging hits, it’s going to make for a night that will live long in the memory.”
Owner of Broadlands Estate, Countess Mountbatten of Burma, said: “We are delighted that Senbla are bringing events of this calibre to Broadlands. This will be a show for the whole county to get involved in, as well as being a big boost to local businesses, and a magical evening of live music.”

An American musician, record producer, composer and co-founder of CHIC, Nile Rodgers has sold more than 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide.
Nile is also a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a three-time Grammy Award-winner and a recipient of the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award. He has produced songs for world-renowned artists including ‘Like a Virgin’ by Madonna, ‘Let's Dance’ by David Bowie, ‘The Reflex’ by Duran Duran, and ‘Upside Down’ by Diana Ross.
Tickets will be available to purchase from Friday, March 3.
Other musicians confirmed to perform at Broadlands this summer is Lionel Richie, who will perform on June 27, and Gwen Stefani, who will bring her long-awaited UK tour to an end at the estate on June 29.
