A WINCHESTER man has been disqualified from driving after a speeding offence on the M27.
Gary Venturi, 51, of Sussex Street, was clocked by a fixed camera driving a Ford at 57mph in the 50-zone of the motorway between junctions 4-5 of the M27 near Eastleigh on January 1 2022, a court heard.
Venturi admitted the charge under the single justice procedure at Aldershot Magistrates Court on Monday February 20.
Magistrates heard the offence had taken him over the penalty points limit and he was banned for six months.
The Bench also fined him £500 with £110 costs and a £50 victim surcharge. The penalties must be paid by March 20.
