A REPRESENTATIVE for Netflix has confirmed that the hit show on the royals will be filming in Winchester for a third time this year.
Just two weeks after they left, production crews for The Crown are due to descend on Winchester College again.
This time stars will be filmed inside the school’s grounds so it is unlikely to cause much disruption to local residents, businesses and traffic around College Street and College Walk.
A spokesperson for Netflix confirmed: “All filming will take place within the college grounds. There might be some parking suspensions in place right next to the college, but no road closures are anticipated.”

A crew member said last week that they’d be back to do it all again in two weeks’ time which suggests filming will take place from Monday, February 27.
Netflix has been contacted for confirmation.
The filming will be shooting scenes for season six of the series which follows the lives of the Royal Family.
Earlier this month, rising star Ed McVey was seen playing a young Prince William as he walked up and down College Street in a red and blue striped rugby top with a group of boys.

Winchester College was also used as a substitute for Eton College in September when Dominic West who plays Prince Charles and his son Senan re-enacted William’s first day at the school.
The Crown also used Winchester Cathedral as a replica of Westminster Abbey in January.
Season six is expected to air this year but the release date is yet to be confirmed.
