Chesil Theatre in Winchester is holding open auditions for a true-life drama.
Auditions will be held on February 26 and 27 for The Thrill of Love by Amanda Whittington. A story based on the life of Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hanged in Britain.
Director Alec Walters says: “The Thrill of Love offers four challenging roles for women and one for an understated middle-aged man in a tense and absorbing drama.”

An informal reading of the play is being held on February, 24 at 7.45 pm with auditions taking place a couple of days later.
Performances will take place on May 13 and continue until the 20th. Tickets are now available to buy and can be found at www.chesiltheatre.org.uk.
