A THEME park in Hampshire that is home to Peppa Pig World is preparing to reopen.

Paultons Park in Ower will be re-opening on February 11, in time for the half-term holiday.

To celebrate, the theme park is offering families free entry to the attraction for a second day when booked with an official short break package.

Paultons Park’s operations director James Mancey said: “Our team has been working hard to prepare the park for excited families to join us on a well-deserved half-term break.

"We’re excited to launch into the spring season with some great savings on our short break packages, with the opportunity to enjoy a second day at Paultons completely free. With more than 80 rides and attractions to enjoy, being able to spread out the fun over two days makes the experience even more memorable.”

The attraction’s annual Hoppy Easter event will be making a return from April 1 to 16, where guests can meet Bobtail and Betty Bunny.

Mr Mancey added: “Our Hoppy Easter event is always popular with families and for the first time, Peppa, George, Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, Zoe Zebra and Suzy Sheep will all make appearances every day for Easter. This new addition to the experience means little ones get the chance to have the best day ever with all their favourite characters.”

In 2022, the park unveiled its brand-new junior coaster, Farmyard Flyer. The airplane-themed adventure that soars above the fictional town of Tornado Springs is the newest themed land at the attraction.

Other lands at Paultons Park include the Jurassic-period dinosaur attraction Lost Kingdom, the educational world of Wild Lands which features a host of real animals to see and learn from, Critter Creek, and a variety of exotic bird exhibits.
