A VINEYARD in the Meon Valley is preparing for its busiest and most successful year to date - with the addition of a new hotel and spa in the pipeline.
Quob Park Estate, a 170-acre vineyard in Wickham, already runs a variety of events and experiences throughout the year at its venue in Titchfield Lane.
As well as being a working vineyard, producing a rage of sparkling wine, it also has a restaurant serving food from Michelin-trained chefs.
This year, it plans to hold tastings tours, cookery schools, plus more, as well as selling food boxes for people to experience fine dining at home.

The business is also in the process of renovating the former Old House Hotel in the Square, Wickham and transforming it into a luxury hotel with spa.
Emma Leeke and Emma Young were showcasing some of the vineyard's products at the recent Local Produce Trade Show, run by Business South, at the Ageas Bowl.
Emma said: "We have so much happening, lots of events, plus our membership, and the hotel spa is coming. We are also doing our tours, hampers, plus we sell 3,000 different types of wine from our stock on the estate.
"This year is going to be a busy year, but an amazing one."
