A Winchester man who was caught driving after his licence had been revoked has been hit with a heavy fine.
Gavin Bonney, 43, was stopped by the police on the A34 at Sutton Scotney on November 13 last year, a court was told.
He was driving a 22-reg Fiat Adria Coral motorhome when his licence had been refused/revoked on the grounds of disability three months earlier on August 5, magistrates heard.
Bonney, of Hamblin Gardens, Kings Barton, admitted the charge and also an allegation of driving without insurance.
Basingstoke Magistrates Court fined him £992 with a £397 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Six penalty points were added to his licence.
The penalty of £1,474 must be paid by February 28, the court ordered.
