ROMSEY Police has announced that it has increased patrolling in three areas in and around the town.

The focus is in response to serious incidents on Braishfield Road, Abbotswood Estate and Fleming Avenue in North Baddesley.

Test Valley Police has also had a number of reports of theft from motor vehicles in the Abbotswood area, with officers carrying out enquiries all day on Wednesday, February 1.

Anyone with information that could help the police with their enquiries is asked to call 101, quoting crime reference number 44230042224/44230042264.

The neighbourhood policing team has also responded to the following incidents: an assault that resulted in grievous bodily harm, one case of criminal damage, a suspected burglary, two missing persons cases, a suspicious incident, a sexual assault, a robbery, a case of vehicular anti-social behaviour and a case of stalking.

Meanwhile, proactive patrols have been taking place in the following areas: Romsey Town, Abbotswood, Cupernham, Tadburn, King’s Chase, North Baddesley, Rownhams, Nursling and Valley Park.
