A WINCHESTER thief will be under a night-time curfew after admitting stealing from Boots.
Christopher Taylor, 35, of Hyde Gate, Hyde, pleaded guilty to burglary and stealing medicines valued at £436 from Boots on the High Street on January 8, a court heard.
Taylor also admitted stealing an unknown quantity of cash from Piecaramba restaurant on Parchment Street on December 20.
Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Monday January 30 imposed a community order for Taylor to obey a curfew to stay at home between 9pm and 6am until April 29. He will be electronically tagged.
He must also undertake a six-month alcohol treatment course and undertake up to 20 days rehabilitation activity.
There was no order for costs because of Taylor's lack of money.
