HAMPSHIRE police have been carrying out patrols following a report of possible hare coursing in Ropley.
The Hampshire Constbulary rural team took to Twitter to share the news, on Saturday, January 28.
The posted: "Patrols across Ropley and Alresford this afternoon after numerous reports of livestock worrying and hare coursing."
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary added: "The patrols come after a report of possible hare coursing in Ropley on January 2, around 4pm, and a ewe being injured by a dog on January 13 in Alresford, around 8.30am.

"We are speaking with the community and will continue our patrols in and around the area."
