A NEW care home in Compton is welcoming visitors ahead of its Spring opening.
Barchester Healthcare has announced that its newest luxury care home, Shawford Springs, is now open to the public to come and visit.
Visitors can meet the team and view the facilities in Otterbourne Road before the first residents move in, in early Spring.
General manager, Julie House, said: “We are thrilled our stunning new home is ready to welcome visitors. It’s a wonderful way for people to come and find out about the exceptional care we provide and meet the friendly team who will be looking after our residents.

“Personalised care really is at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking forward to meeting new friends from within the local community and to welcoming our new residents and their loved ones.”
The 64-bed care home will offer person-centred residential, dementia and respite care as well as luxury amnesties like spa bathrooms, ensuite bedrooms with smart TVs, an in-house salon, lounges, freshly baked goods and a café to socialise.
Shawford Springs is encouraging anyone considering care for themselves or loved ones to ask the team questions.

Barchester Healthcare aims to provide tailored care and support for its residents, respecting their dignity and choice.
Once open, the home in Compton will provide a Life Enrichment programme of daily activities so residents can continue their hobbies or try something new
The facility will also have a dedicated area called Memory Lane, to support people with dementia. As well as residential and dementia care, the service will also be equipped for respite care and short stays.
