MORE high street shops in Winchester have had their windows smashed.
Rohan and Pavilion, both located in The Square, have had their windows smashed in an incident which took place between 12noon and 1pm on Friday, January 27.
Both shops temporarily closed following the incident for health and safety reasons.
The police have made an arrest in connection to the incident.
A police spokesperson said: "We attended The Square, Winchester, today (Friday, January 27) after receiving multiple reports that a man was seen damaging windows to two shops.
"The first call was received at 12.17pm.
"Officers attended and arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of criminal damage. He is currently in police custody."

This comes following the Republic of Pizza & Desserts and WHSmith both being targeted earlier in the month.
The Old Fashioned Sweet Shop on Winchester High Street has also been targeted.
The Chronicle was told that the shop's front door window was smashed at approximately 3am on Monday, January 23.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.35am on Monday 23 January to a report of an attempted burglary at The Old Sweetie Shop, in High Street, Winchester.
"An alarm has been activated. Officers attended. The front door of the shop had been damaged but nothing was reported stolen.
"Enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting the reference number 44230029581."
The spokesperson said that there is no evidence to suggest that the two incidents are linked.
