A DRUG driver caught in the City of London has been disqualified from the road for three years.
Thijssen Johns-Elliott, 41, of Moorlands Road, Swanmore, was stopped by the police in Leadenhall Street on June 25 last year, a court heard.
Johns-Elliott when tested returned a reading for cannabis of 11.2 micrograms when the legal level is 2mg.
Magistrates in Wimbledon on Wednesday January 11 banned him from driving for 36 months, imposed a fine of £150 with a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The penalties will be taken from benefits at the rate of £10 every two weeks.
