ROMSEY police have reported a busy seven days last week.

The neighbourhood policing team have dealt with: a domestic burglary, ten road traffic incidents, one case of shoplifting, the arrest of a drink driver, three cases of anti-social behaviour, a driver who failed to adhere to a road closure and was issued a ticket, two suspicious incidents, one malicious communication, one incident of hare coursing, four road closures.

They say they have been investigating: one malicious communication, one shoplifting, two suspicious incidents, one case of harassment, a drug-related 'fast parcel' and one public order.

Proactive patrols were conducted in the following areas: Romsey Town, Cupernham, Tadburn, North Baddesley, Chilworth, Nursling, Rownhams, Valley Park, Ampfield, Michelmarsh, Timsbury and Awbridge.

The Romsey Neighbour Policing Team have helped the rural team with patrols in Shootash, West Wellow, Sherfield English, Nether Wallop and Broughton.
