A driver had a very fortunate escape from serious injury on the A272 near Alresford.
A wooden pole smashed through a car windscreen after the vehicle slewed off the road near Alresford.
The car struck a bus stop on the A272 at Bramdean.

Hampshire police tweeted: "One very lucky driver. After an aborted overtake, the driver took to the verge driving through a bus shelter."
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 4.05pm on Wednesday 18 January to a report that a car had collided with a bus shelter on the A272 near the junction with Brockwood Lane.
"The driver sustained minor injuries. We attended and the scene was clear by 6pm. No action has been taken against the driver at the current time."
This week's icy weather has caused a large number of crashes with police closing off a number of major roads including the A32 in the Meon Valley and the A3090 near Romsey.
