A 13-YEAR-OLD girl who sparked an appeal after she went missing from her home in Basingstoke has been found.
Lyla was last seen at around 2.30pm on Sunday, January 15 on Simmons Walk, Basingstoke, when she was heading to the town centre to meet a friend.
Her disappearance caused her family and the police to be concerned for her welfare and prompted an appeal that was shared widely.
However, a police spokesperson confirmed at 9.40pm on January 18 that she had been found.
They said: “We are pleased to say Lyla has now been located.
Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
