Winchester's famous Blue Apple Theatre recently had a new production taking place at the Theatre Royal.
The three-day run started on Friday January 6 and MP Steve Brine dropped backstage to meet the cast and wish them well.
The new show is called 'Lashings of Ginger Beer' and the Blue Apple websites describes it as follows: "Brought to you by the team who re-created The Railway Children for the stage, this show will be escapism of the highest order, taking you back to a time that never really was; a safer, simpler time when crooks mumbled darkly on street corners, so we could all spot them at a glance!"

Mr Brine said: "I've followed Blue Apple for years and really enjoyed watching it grow and some of its stars, not least Tommy Jessop of course, grow up. The reviews for this new show are, unsurprisingly, first class as usual. Many congratulations to everyone involved."
