A WINCHESTER woman has been ordered to do unpaid work after breaking a community order.

Micha Estelle Garland, 29, was convicted of an offence whilst the court order was in force, a court heard.

Garland, of The Valley, Stanmore, had been convicted in September 2021 of attacking a police officer Emma Broomfield.

Southampton Magistrates Court on December 22 revoked the original order and made a new one, ordering Garland to undertake a nine-month alcohol treatment course. There is also a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to ten days and the requirement to do 70 hours unpaid work.

There were no details given on the court record on how the community order had been breached.
