Two roads in the Romsey area will be closed this month as repair works are carried out.
Hampshire County Council will be working on Rownhams Lane in North Baddesley and areas along the A3090 Ampfield Road from Pound Lane to Jermyns Lane.
They will be undertaking heavy patching works on Rownhams Lane to make the road more resilient to the effects of extreme weather and heavy traffic.
The work will start on January 20 and last for seven days. During this time, the road will be closed so a diverted route will be in place. The road will be reopened outside each working shift.

Similar works will be carried out in areas along A3090 Ampfield Road from Pound Lane to Jermyns Lane, starting on January 18. This will last for two nights with the road closed for through traffic from 8pm-6am.
Information signs advising road users of the works will be put up before the start of works and a letter will be sent to local residents and businesses.
