A WEST End producer is returning to Romsey for a concert at the Plaza Theatre.
Tickets for a show with Kiki Dee and Carmelo Luggeri on March 31, at 7.30pm, are selling fast.
Steve Ward has produced a number of shows and concerts in venues around the globe and by day runs the Aldwych Theatre in London’s West End, home of Tina, The Tina Turner Musical.
He started out as a member of the Romsey Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (RAODS) at the Plaza Theatre when he was a teenager.
Steve previously said: “The Plaza Theatre gave me an invaluable insight into all areas of the theatre, from backstage and technical to treading the boards, which inspired me to follow a career in the business.”
Nearly 30 years later, having recently moved back to Ampfield, Steve intends to produce a series of concerts closer to home.
