Crowds in Winchester’s busy high street were entertained by a flashmob earlier this month.
Lauren Cunningham from Integr8 Dance was the instructor responsible for organising the flash mob, which saw 70 dance students put on an impromptu show.
She said: “Flashmobs are always about spontaneity and surprise. I picked a day that wasn’t specific and a place where the general public would get a kick out of seeing something so great on an average day.
“I chose Winchester high street as it is so popular and busy this time of year."
Laura had participated in a flash mob before and said she was inspired by watching other performances on Youtube.

She thought that the pupils at the dance school, which is based at UNIT 12 in
Winnall Valley Road, would be inspired by taking part too.
She said: "Ages 8 to 18 participated, however, we did have a few of the parents of some of our children who joined in - some out of pressure and some out of wanting to embarrass their children! It was such a great performance that got such great feedback and reviews.”
After the success of the last flash mob, Lauren and Integr8 Dance are planning more events in the near future.
