A SPECIAL showing of the iconic Snowman film will be held on Christmas Eve in Winchester.
The Raymond Briggs movie will be shown at the Guildhall in celebration of its 40th anniversary on Saturday, December 24.
Jenna Hopkins, director of the company behind the showcase, said: "This special performance will feature the live screening of the film on a huge cinematic screen, synchronised to a live professional orchestra - led by internationally renowned conductor, Matthew Hopkins.

"The two scheduled performances will feature a local boy treble, singing the magical Walking in The Air.
"Alongside fun and festive Christmas music, with audience participation – this is not an event to be missed!"
Tickets start from £12 for children and £16 for adults.
All ages are welcome at the 12.30pm performance, however children under three will not be permitted to the 2.30pm show.
