The manager of a Romsey retirement village has scooped a national prize.
Fiona Gebert, general manager at Audley Stanbridge Earls, has been awarded the ‘General Manager of the Year’ award at the annual Audley Spirit Awards.
Fiona collected the title at a ceremony hosted at Coombe Abbey Hotel in Warwickshire.
This wasn’t the only success the team at Stanbridge Earls enjoyed on the night, with team members also receiving recognition for their outstanding work over the year.
Lesley Hands was awarded ‘Ultimate High Performer - Care’ for the village and Gemma Wallace’s work led her to win ‘Sales Consultant of the Year’ jointly with Lizzie Dart and James Prideaux at the awards ceremony.

Fiona said: “It is such an honour to win the General Manager of the year award. I have not long held this position, having spent the majority of my career with Audley at St Elphin’s Park in Matlock, but the village is so special to me and the team. It is truly fantastic to have our hard work and high standards recognised. It was also a pleasure to see Lesley and Gemma rewarded for their exceptional work and service at the village.”
Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley Villages, said: “The Audley Spirit Awards were as fantastic as ever with a variety of villages being given the recognition they deserve. The team at Stanbridge Earls excelled this year through their professionalism, collaboration and enthusiasm which was reflected in their three wins his year at the Audley Spirit Awards”
