A STREAM of locals came to see the Walrus which unexpectedly arrived at a beach in Hampshire.
The moment that the walrus, nicknamed Thor, swam away from the beach was captured by onlookers.
The large mammal was first spotted by fisherman Darren Mckell and his family from Holbury who were out fishing in the early hours of Sunday, December 11.
The family contacted British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDLMR) who cordoned off the area at Calshot Beach along with the coastguard.

People were advised to keep a safe distance from the walrus as the creatures are protected from disturbance under UK law.
Thor was seen in the Netherlands at the beginning of November and has since been travelling along the coast of France before arriving in Hampshire according to BDLMR.
The surprise visitor was filmed leaving the stone beach around midday on Sunday, December 11 with the solitary male steaming with its own heat.
