FAMED hairdresser Guy Kremer has announced he is cancer free after revealing his kidney has been removed.
He said he is cheered after winning a prestigious award.
The Parchment Street salon owner took to Instagram to update his followers about the good news, after having his kidney removed on Wednesday, December 7.
The French hairdresser shared a picture with his 11,400 followers as he lay in his hospital bed, next to partner Tia Stanley.
In the social media post, Guy said: "I like to thank everyone at the Spire Southampton hospital. The team, doctors and nurses are making my stay comfortable as possible and my fellowship President Award on Monday soothes my pain from the excitement I got from it.
"The Big C is out and my kidney has been removed."
Guy was awarded the President's Award 2022 at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing Award's on Monday, December 5.

The event was held at The Londoner Hotel, where Guy was joined by hair designer, Robert Masciave, who Guy described as his "protege".
In a social media post, Guy wrote: "So proud of Robert Masciave. When he first came to the UK he was my protege and he has followed my steps and won awards."
