FIREFIGHTERS in Bishop's Waltham rescued a child who was locked in a car yesterday afternoon.
The child was rescued from the vehicle at around 1pm on December 5.
In a tweet, the fire station said: "H40P1 mobilised to a child locked in a vehicle in Bishop's Waltham. Vehicle opened without causing any damage, child fit and well other than a few tears (but that was just because she saw our Watch Manager)."

Later that day, crews attended a false alarm in Waltham Chase, where they used a 9m ladder.
The station tweeted: "H40P1 mobilised to a domestic alarm sounding in Waltham Chase. 9 metre ladder used to inspect unattended property to confirm no signs of fire."
