Winchester College pupil William Newport has made it to the finals of the BBC Young Chorister of the Year competition.
William, who is in Year 10 at the college, is one of just three boys from across the country in the final, which will be aired on Sunday December 11 at 1.15pm on BBC Two.
Supported by his parents and school singing teacher, Claire Rutter, William progressed through the semi-finals, which were broadcast last Sunday, with a performance of 'Pie Jesu' by Fauré.
