A POPULAR country pub is celebrating after achieving a top award for its culinary excellence.
The White Horse in Otterbourne received the AA Rosette award on Monday, November 21 for the care and quality of its food.
The pub achieved the award for the way its food is prepared, as it sources seasonal produce from the local area.

An AA inspector said: "Seasonal menus list British-influenced food at this traditional village pub just south of Winchester.
"Friendly and welcoming staff serve dishes such as braised pork belly with bubble and squeak, and ale-battered fish and chips, but also Moroccan-style chickpea and kale stew, and Goan fish curry.
"Antique furnishings fill the interior, while the two large gardens incorporate a children’s play area"
General manager, Jess Rogers said: "It’s such a proud moment for all the team here retaining our AA Rosette for another year, which is just a brilliant testament to our talented team’s creativity and hard work.
"Our team is committed to delivering excellence in everything we do across the whole dining experience so to get this recognition from industry experts is hugely rewarding."
