A church in Winchester will host a unique Christmas concert in aid of Ukrainian families.
Acclaimed opera singer and Micheldever resident John Lofthouse, who has performed for the likes of the English National Opera and Opera Holland Park, will be premiering his one-man show Wise Man at The United Church in Jewry Street on Saturday, December 3.
Featuring original songs, the family-friendly piece of musical theatre imagines the journey of a fourth Wise Man to Bethlehem, offering a festive start to Christmas.

All net proceeds from the concert will go to the church's 'Ukrainian Refugee Meet & Greet' fund, allowing families to meet weekly at the church to play, socialise, speak their home language, and share experiences.
The performance will start at 7.30pm and consists of two acts of 40 minutes each, and an interval of 20 minutes during which refreshments will be served.
Tickets are £10 per person, plus a £1 booking fee, and are available from TicketSource.
