Organisers of a firework display have apologised after an accident left four people with minor abrasions, but say reports on social media have blown the incident out of proportion.
Weeke Social Club put on a small show for members and their family and friends in the car park of Weeke Community Centre on Saturday, November 5.
During the event, a small box-type firework was blown over by a gust of wind, sending four shots horizontally into two safety barriers.
While the fencing took most of the impact, some of the ignited sparks hit the crowd, prompting angry parents to post about the incident on social media.

One woman said that the incident had left her kids 'terrified' and she shared a video of them screaming.
However, organisers said only a handful of people were affected - with one person suffering a small burn mark on their fleece, and another left with a red mark on their face.
Another attendee's hair was singed and a fourth person suffered a minor burn on their knee which required an ice pack.
Peter North, vice chairman of the social club, said: "We are deeply saddened and upset that an unpreventable accident occurred at the display.
"We immediately stopped the display and safety marshals went through and checked everyone in the crowd.
"It was only those four people that required our attention and at no point were any emergency services needed or called."
Mr North said the decision was taken not to use the same box fireworks and people were consulted on whether or not they wanted to stay, adding that "very few" left.

He rubbished claims of a second malfunction and said it wasn't possible that debris from the rockets, which they instead opted to use, could have hit cars or houses in Taplings Road.
"There wasn't any of this chaos that has been reported over social media," he added. "This was just a real unfortunate event and of course, we wish we could turn the clock back."
Former mayor and long-term Weeke resident Eileen Berry is a member of the club.
She said: "I was there, right at the front, and I didn't even move. I don't recognise all the things these people are saying.
"Yes, for a few moments it was a little bit scary, but it was sorted quickly and responsibly. It was an accident and the evening progressed beautifully.
"The members of the club worked incredibly hard to put on this wonderful event."
Weeke Social Club has been running the display without incident for around 10 years. It is not affiliated with the community centre.
