PARENTS have been left fuming after a chaotic evening at a social club firework display.
Angry parents say their children were terrified as 'unsecured' pyrotechnics misfired into crowds from the car park of Weeke Community Centre on Saturday night.
One mum, who took her kids to watch the show, and wished not to be named, described the event.

She said: "We were in the park next to the community centre, the park was full and so many people were hit."
Footage from the night shared online shows people running away and screaming as rockets explode.
"We all just needed to get our children away from it," she added. "They were so distressed so we didn't hang around to see what happened after.

"The whole thing was out of control and completely unsafe.
"I doubt my children and a lot of other children that were there will ever go to anything to do with fireworks again."
The event was organised for members and friends of Weeke Social Club who were charged £1 for entry. It's not yet clear whether a refund was offered to those in attendance.
