A BUSINESS has launched in Romsey, running art and craft activities for young children.

Mini Crafters Club is a seasonally inspired craft club for children and was found by Lizzie Keep earlier this year.

Prior to Mini Crafters Club, Lizzie had a career in primary teaching and childcare for over 10 years.

Inspiring children through art, craft and creativity is a passion for Lizzie as well as an interest in creative play, child development and allowing children to explore their natural surroundings.

Hampshire Chronicle:

Lizzie has two young children, Martha, aged five, and Noah, three. Their love for arts and crafts was the inspiration when setting up the craft club. All of the activities at Mini Crafters Club are tried and tested out by Martha and Noah for their seal of approval.

Lizzie said: "I am based in Romsey, and so far we have had sessions at the Dr Peter Centre and Abbotswood Community Centre.

Hampshire Chronicle:

"We have two November sessions booked, where the children will be making winter wonderland crowns and wall hangings. These will be held at the Age Concern Hall on Linden Road between 9.15am and 11.30am on November 25. We are hoping that Age Concern will be more of a fixed venue. In December we will be hosting a number of Christmas craft events for 0-4 year olds and a 4-7 year old groups.

"From January, our goal is to begin weekly sessions at the Age Concern hall on a Tuesday morning."
