AS winter approaches along with rising energy costs, Colden Common Parish Council and Community Association are working together to make warm spaces available, free of charge, at the Community Centre which will be open to all.
The idea is that people could drop in, meet others for a chat, use their laptops or other devices, read a book or perhaps even watch a film whilst enjoying a hot drink.
It will be on Mondays, from 10.30am - 1.30pm, in the Jenny Gray Room.

A CLIMATE cafe will be held in Colden Common on November 6, from 11am-12.30pm, at the Church Rooms.
It's being run by a group of residents who are concerned about climate change.
Their aim is to come together as a community to improve climate awareness and to think about how activities can be organised locally to combat climate change.
