REHEARSALS have started for Swanmore Amateur Dramatic Society's production of the pantomime Puss in Boots.
They will be performing on December 1, 2 and 3, at 7.30pm each night and a matinee at 2pm on the Saturday.

THE Meon Voices community choir has announced Thursday December 15 as the date of this year’s Christmas Concert.
To be held at St Peter’s Church, Bishop’s Waltham from 7.30 pm, the performance will include songs from the musical Show Boat, traditional and modern classical pieces, and the opportunity to join in with some much-loved Christmas carols.
There will be an interval with tea, coffee and mince pies; there is no need to book, and whilst the concert is free to attend; there will be a cash collection, the proceeds of which will be divided between the Choir and the Church’s charities.

THE BLOW Saxophone Ensemble will be performing at St Barnabus Church, in Swanmore, on December 9.
Doors will open at 7pm, with the concert taking place at 7.45pm. Tea and coffee will be served in the interval and the bar will be open throughout. 
Tickets cost £10, with under 16s going free. They go on sale in November and can be bought from Barnaby's and the Paterson Centre after 10am services on Sundays.

BISHOP's Waltham Rotary Club will be bringing back its steam train with Father Christmas.
It will be visiting Waltham Chase, Bishop's Waltham and Fair Oak, in the week beginning December 12.

CURDRIDGE Amateur Drama Group is performing a comedy murder mystery in November.
Peter Gordon’s Secondary Cause of Death will be performed on November 24 and 25 at 7.45pm and on November 26 at 2.30pm and 7.45pm.

A FIREWORKS display will be at Hoe Road Recreation Ground in Bishop's Waltham on November 5.
It starts at 6pm and will feature fairground rides, a BBQ, real ale and refreshments.
