A MUSEUM is opening after dark to combine history and Halloween in a one-off event.
The Gurkha Museum, in Winchester’s Penninsula Baracks, is hosting an evening of drinks, food and ghostly tales of Gurkha history on October 29 from 6pm.
Upon arrival, visitors will receive a glass of fizz before a twilight tour with historical and spooky anecdotes. Guests will then move up to the gallery for a traditional three-course Nepali curry supper and more Gurkha ghost stories.
Tickets cost £55. Half a bottle of wine or bottle of Gurkha beer is also included with dinner, after which, a cash bar will be available.
