A FOOTBALL club has been targeted by thieves, who stole money and broke a pool table.
The incident took place at Romsey Town Football Club on October 3.
In a social media post from the club, it said: "Unfortunately there was a break-in at the club last night. Pool table has been broken. Money, spirits and tools have been stolen. Our CCTV cameras have been damaged. It has been reported to Romsey police.
"If anyone has a pool table to donate, it would be greatly appreciated."
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "We are investigating a burglary at Romsey Town Football Club, which happened sometime between 5pm on Monday October 3 and 7.10am the following morning.
"It was reported a quantity of money and other items had been stolen from the clubhouse.
"Enquiries are ongoing, anyone with information should call 101, quoting the reference 44220402961."
