A DRIVER who drove carelessley and failed to stop after an accident has been disqualified.
Alexander Shanks, 36, of Tees Green, Colden Common, admitted failing to stop in his 64-reg Audi S4 after an incident in which property was damaged on Tees Farm Road on February 3, a court heard.

Shanks also admitted careless driving in the same incident when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 18.
As well as a 12-month ban Shanks was ordered to undertake 200 hours unpaid work, with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to ten hours.
He was also fined £250 with a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs in a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on September 22.
