PEOPLE across the country paid their respects to the Queen as the nation stood still for her funeral.
The Queen's state funeral took place at Westminster Abbey in London on September 19 following her death on Thursday, September 8 aged 96.
While the capital city was packed, as was Windsor where her coffin was lowered into the royal vault in St George's Chapel, many people stayed closer to home to take a moment to reflect on Queen Elizabeth II's 70-year reign.
In Romsey, a special service was held at Romsey Abbey and her funeral was shown on a big screen.
Over at War Memorial Park people laid flowers on the bandstand, while at Broadlands Estate, where the Queen honeymooned, tributes were laid at the gates.
Elsewhere, the town was eerily quiet as shops and businesses closed as a mark of respect.
Photographer Keith Woodland was in the town to capture the historic day - click the top image to see a selection of photographs.
