Whatever your skill level or camera, Winchester Photographic Society has a few vacancies for its 2022-2023 season starting now.
It's exceptional value at just £83 a year for single members and £145 joint membership for couples, especially for what is included.
Running annually from September to June on Tuesday evenings, the club offers a varied programme of inspirational speakers, instruction and competitions.
All competitions are entirely optional. Additionally, on other days improver groups meet regularly. There are photo walks, days away, social evenings and many opportunities to develop and improve camera craft in a friendly, welcoming and helpful community.
The closed Facebook Group, where members share views on member's images and club matters is very popular and everyone receives a weekly newsletter in their inbox.
The club meets at the Arc in Jewry Street in the state-of-the-art Performance Hall, with private access to the café/bar and adequate free parking nearby.
WPS celebrates its 100th Anniversary in its 2023-2024 season, which promises to be a year like no other when current members will have the first opportunity to renew memberships for that landmark season.
Anyone wishing to learn more or grab one of the remaining memberships should make contact as soon as possible by emailing secretary@winphotosoc.uk.
