NOW in its seventh year, Winchester’s Heritage Open Days begins on September 9 with 10 days of free talks, tours, and open days for people to discover the local history.
This year’s event, organised by the Hampshire History Trust, is based on the national theme of ‘Astounding Inventions’. Here are all the events taking place in and around Winchester within the first week of the Heritage Open Days. Please note that some events require booking in advance whilst others are free to turn up to on the day.
