A THAI restaurant is expected to be opening in Winchester soon as workmen have been seen gutting the building. 

As well as putting up scaffold on the former Slug and Lettuce building, workmen have been hard at work inside. 

Giggling Squid announced a new restaurant will be opening in The Square at the beginning of 2022, with builders are working on the building.

In a report by the Chronicle, Giggling Squid announced plans to open doors in Winchester this summer, with no fixed date given. 

The restaurant will create 50 jobs for Winchester, with chefs, managers and bar staff wanted for full-time and part-time positions.
