A WINCHESTER man has been fined for speeding in Wales.
Christian Smith, 26, of Eastgate Street, exceeded the 40mph limit on roadworks whilst driving a Volkswagen on the A55 in Gwynedd on January 24. The exact speed was not stated on the court record.
The case was proved under the single justice procedure. Smith was not present.
Mold Magistrates Court on Friday July 29 imposed a £220 fine and ordered Smith pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points. The fines must be paid by August 26.
