A TEENAGE singer from Alresford has been scouted by three management agencies after posting covers on Instagram.
The singer song-writer has always said that she wanted to release a single before she was 14, although she hasn’t managed that yet, Ellie and her family spent five hours at a studio the day before her 14th birthday recording her first single.
Ellie said: "It’s always been my dream but I’ve never been confident enough to act on it however, 2022 is my year to just believe in myself.

"I wrote my song It’s Right myself and helped with the production of it as well as my amazing producer Luc Pomfret.
"When I listened to it back, I couldn’t believe that what used to be my thoughts on paper was now a song.
"Right now the song is being mastered which means all the little mistakes will be fixed then, it will be ready to presave and finally everyone can all hear it. I hope to be making more music in the future so look out."
Ellie Pettinati, 14, a pupil at Lord Wandsworth College near Basingstoke, has been noticed by the West End production of Grease and Les Miserables.
It started when the teenager did a cover of You’re The One That I Want from Grease and tagged the West End social media account for the musical as an acknowledgement and the next day, they liked Ellie's social media post.
This then led onto Ellie being noticed a few times before until she was messaged by the West End young performers to audition for their company.
Alexandra Pettinati, Ellie’s mum, said: “She has always sung, ever since she was a baby she would sing herself to sleep in her cot, but properly I would say over the last two years is where she has been writing her own songs and really trying to get a music career going.

"She has a really collective music taste, she grew up listening to what me and her farther listen too and she went to a Harry Styles music concert recently. Every once and a while we will sit down together as a family and listen to music and she will suggest to listen to some music from 30 years ago and it just amazes us her strong interest in music.
"Ellie has got an amazing voice for her age and she is extremely determined and focused and she even recently took part in a gig at HMV Winchester a few weeks ago, and we are so impressed that she organised it herself by contacting the manager of the store – for her first event, it went really well.
"It sounds a bit of a cliché but her voice seems to be a gift, whenever she sings I couldn’t be more proud and I do literally get shivers down my spine."
Ellie is currently in Spain on foreign exchange for the next few weeks, which Alex described as highlighting just "how much she just wants to embrace everything life has to offer."
