A WINCHESTER man has been banned from driving after he was caught 16-times the drug drive limit.
David Thorn, 40, was stopped by police whilst in a 53-reg Vauxhall Astra on Edgar Road on February 6, a court heard.
Thorn, of Hyde Gate, Hyde, took a drugs test and returned a reading for cocaine breakdown product BZE of 800ug/l when the legal limit is 50, making him 16 times the limit.
Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday August 2 disqualified him from the road for 12 months and fined him £80.
