RESIDENTS in Winchester were left with low or no water on Friday evening following a burst pipe.
Hundreds of families faced water shortage after the incident in Bereweeke Road near Andover Road junction.
The burst pipe caused flooding on the road. Southern Water staff arrived at the scene and sealed the leak later.

Many residents took to Facebook to report the problem, saying they have no water at home, while residents from some areas reported that the water pressure was too low.
One resident reported that water was lapping into businesses like Bona Fides Fish and Chips Place, The Light of Bengal and Oriental Star in Andover Road.
