Deborah, 48, who lives in Winchester, said: “It feels amazing, it feels me with a huge pride walking into the business every day that is clean, clinical, functional but also very welcoming.

“We have been able to help so many people, especially during times where access to healthcare can be difficult.

"We have all worked incredibly hard, and over the last two years I personally haven’t had a day off.

“I don’t do things to win awards, but yet to be awarded and receive recognition for what we’ve done – it does feel great.

“I have won national awards for the work I have done, but to win an award here in my hometown and where my children also live, felt really special.”

Remedi Health is constantly looking into the future in terms of how it can build on what it already does and offers.

The business currently offers a wide variety of services including allergy and blood tests, ear wax removal and travel vaccinations.

IT is also listed with the UK Government as a private provider of Covid-19 testing including antigen, same day and next day RT-PCR, antibody and travel certificates.

On the back of Covid it has already had some exciting technological advancements.

Deborah said: “It is taking what has been a difficult couple of years and learning how we can use this to help people live a longer healthy life.

“To be able to learn these new clinical skills and develop those to help people has been professionally and positively very rewarding.

“I think that it is very important to demonstrate that you can start your own business."
